Really encapsulated the feel of the star wars universe, gameplay is D relatively simple but there is nice depth of immersion and storyline with meaningful choices when deciding which missions to take how to upgrade and which factions to ally with our betray. If you have ever played firefly the board game it is very similar, but a lot more streamlined. Recommended for lightish immersive star wars fun, good with two players as well!

I have played this game four times now, and I absolutely love it. The game definitely captures the SW feeling for me, and has a really immersive atmosphere. Every time you play a different story unfolds for each player's character. Sometimes you're lucky, and sometimes you're not. And many unexpected things happen. But that's just how the world works, in the Outer Rim... The production value is fantastic (as one would expect from FFG games). The databank deck is a very elegant solution. The only (relatively minor) issues I have with the game, is that when it another player's turn, you don't have anything to do, so if the people you play with don't take turns efficiently, you may have to wait around for a bit longer than one would want to get to your turn and do fun stuff. The other possible issue would be with replayability. As the game's draw is the stories that unfold and the random things that happen to you in this world (that feels really alive), once you've played it a bunch of times and know exactly what to expect, the sense of wonder will diminish. I have played 4 times now, and the game has so far lost none of it's charm. But maybe once I've played it 8 or so times it might become less exciting. But that's still a good number of playthroughs in my opinion, and there is definitely room for expansions, which FFG tend to do if the game is popular. So in summary, I can definitely recommend this game!

Once you have played it once it plays quickly, fun game which plays well solo as well. Fans of Star Wars will dig seeing all the characters and stories on the cards. Even if you haven't seen Star Wars it's a quick fun game. Recommended.
