“Ticket to Ride is a pleasant set collection and route building game that provide a great entry point into the wider board game hobby. The Europe version unsurprisingly sees players making routes across the continent trying to fulfil as many tickets as they can. During the course of the game you may unwittingly block and be blocked by others. You are rewarded for your train routes and completed tickets while losing points for uncompleted tickets. Each turn you have only three possible actions to choose from making the game simple to pick up but still fun to play.”

“Enjoyable game. Good dynamic and quick to get the hang of. The more players, the better the game plays. If played too regularly, players will learn the routes and can work out where other players are going.”

“It's a hit that appeals to broad audience. Card based win by points style eurogame. Family and friends, people who don't play much would injoy it. Could be great gateway game for beginners. Good for collection, but if you know your games and know what you want it could be too general option.”
