It combines diatonic and pentatonic scales with the related arpeggios and triads in such a logical sequence that it brings it together in a format that I have never seen before and I’ve been playing the guitar for decades. “Another hit out of the ballpark! Great course. Not for a beginner, but not hard either. I was amazed at some of the concepts that finally clicked for me. And tying this course together with some of the workouts like the Pentatonic Mastery I and II courses and man you will fly over that keyboard like you lived on it all your life!”

“Out of the multitude of guitar instruction options out there, YGA is clearly and consistently a cut above the rest. The course on Unlocking Major CAGED is an obvious example of this. Stellar production value aside, the core concepts of the lessons are arranged and taught in such a way as to enable the learner to understand the "why" as opposed to simply the "how."”

“The course is great for beginners, which I am not. It would have been quite easy to add the minor side of the CAGED system as well as the 7th and m7th . This would have made the course a greater value”

Hi Neil, great to hear from you! Sorry you feel that way, but we really wanted to focus in on the major CAGED system first, and just the 4 part layer of triad chord, arpeggio, pentatonic and full scale. That is still a huge amount of content, even for an intermediate player. We will be developing this in further courses, including the Minor CAGED and advancing the whole thing with 7th's, 9th's and more outside thinking!

“Great performance lesson bit would prefer to extend with more conceptual chord or lead ideas to create your own Mayer like playing style, would be a Great asset to all artist courses. Remains top class , Eric Johnson couRse would also be very valuable.”
