“This guy, Dan, is a great teacher. He doesn't talk anymore than he has to, doesn't tell jokes, doesn't make the lesson about him -- he's just about moving you along to build new skills. His pace is such that you don't have time to get bored, unlike with some other video instruction I've tried. Everything you learn here is aimed at getting you to play real music which, after all, is why we all want to learn guitar. I'm American and live in Kentucky. But I'm learning to play from an English guy in the UK. I stick with him because he's easy to listen to and follow along with, seems genuinely enthusiastic about getting people to progress, and his accent is just cool. Loving yourguitaracademy.com!”

“I have taken several courses from Your Guitar Academy in the past and I have always been more than satisfied. However, Unlocking Major CAGED is over the top! It combines diatonic and pentatonic scales with the related arpeggios and triads in such a logical sequence that it brings it together in a format that I have never seen before and I’ve been playing the guitar for decades. Well done!”

“Another hit out of the ballpark! Great course. Not for a beginner, but not hard either. I was amazed at some of the concepts that finally clicked for me. And tying this course together with some of the workouts like the Pentatonic Mastery I and II courses and man you will fly over that keyboard like you lived on it all your life!”
