“At 62 years of age, and not having a musical bone in my body, I decided to learn to play the guitar. This course is perfect for anyone setting out on their guitar journey. Not only does it cover the basics, such as how to hold a guitar, strumming and some chords, but also a little music theory, strumming patterns, scales, and how to get going with a plan for regular practice. By halfway through the course, I was playing a few chords, strumming my first song, and even playing a simple riff. Not bad for someone who last played the hateful recorder at school over 50 years ago! If you want to get a good grounding, and can put the work in, this course will have you playing 2 songs, using several strumming patterns, several chords and a couple of riffs by the end of it. It gave me the confidence to now move on to the next level. I can't recommend this course enough.”
