“I started using this strap as my daily driver about a month ago and I can now give a fair review. Firstly, it's a very handsome strap. Quite bulky on the wrist with the rounded, chunky hardware and thick canvas material, but suits my Captain Willard very well. It feels incredibly sturdy and, because it's made of canvas, it's already developed a nice patina. Now the issues. Firstly, the metal eyelets over the holes make it too thick to fit under my watch's spring bars. No biggie, but does make it a longer task taking it on and off. Secondly, I am already getting fraying around my most commonly used eyelet. I'm sure it'll hold out for a while yet, but it's definitely going to start keyholing sooner than expected. I purchased this strap because I was tired of waring out normal nylon nato straps at the eyelets, and I don't think this strap has solved this problem for me. On the whole, I'd still recommend this strap but don't expect it to be better than a regular old nato. I also paid around £20 plus postage, so it's not cheaper either.”
