“Not cheap by any means, but value for money in the best sense of the word. I have now fitted half of my watches with these buckles and straps. Even watches costing several thousand euros, whose straps and buckles were not bad, of course. For me, however, the Octopod solution is by far the best and most comfortable way to wear watches.”

“I was looking for a solution for my black/orange seiko Willard SPB257J1. The octopod mk3 offers a good range of colours and importantly now has black pvd option. I’m convinced this is best available solution, but would say the ridge straps are a bit firm, but only £10 each so fair value and brought a few alternatives to experiment, tho likely to settle on the orange. The buckle is a bit sharp and has chewed up my wrist a bit, but mostly as a result of micro adjusting the fit. It is easy to setup, but is a bit of a fiddle to perfect. Maybe the mk4 could have some smoother edges and be a bit less pinchy, but happy with my purchase overall. It’s a good fit and feels well made and safe and secure. As ever the customer service is excellent and couldn’t ask for more. Another free tool too.”

“i love this buckle for my fabric military strap. make it so easy to take on and off my wrist. I put it on my Swatch Moon swatch as i did not like the velco strap that came with the watch . I have the fabric strap in several colours so can mix and match easily.”

“great system but closing the clasp isn't crisp - it's like the spings (whatever) aren't sharp / snappy enough. Spongy, works 2nds time. However, I'm using this in preference to my previous nm straps. Zuludiver Octopod is much better IM(H)O. Good bio-degradable packaging (goes straight into my worm-farm) but WatchGecko need to do a better deal with DHL on price.”

“if you are looking for an alternative to the standard nato, you can buy it here. only the assembly is a little more complex, which you soon have figured out. if they can get the extremely high transport fees under control, i will definitely order more often.”
