“I’ve always been a big fan of WatchGecko straps. The small collection I own is stylish, high-quality, and incredibly comfortable. So when I saw the Leather Mystery Box deal, where you get multiple straps for the price of just one, I couldn’t resist. The excitement got the best of me, and I ended up buying two boxes: one in 20mm and one in 22mm. When the boxes arrived I was beyond thrilled. My main hope was to get at least one nice black and brown strap in each box with anything extra being a bonus. At first glance, I was over the moon! Between both boxes, I received 19 straps in total, including some fantastic black and brown options, along with stunning blue, green, and taupe straps. Incredible value! However, as I looked through the straps more closely I noticed that eight of them weren’t quick release. While WatchGecko doesn’t state that these straps would be, quick release has become a standard feature on most of their current offerings so I was a bit surprised. For some this might not be a problem, but as someone who enjoys switching straps daily to match my outfits these are effectively unusable for me. Unfortunately, this includes the really nice brown straps from my 22mm box which is a real shame. In hindsight, I should have studied the review pictures more carefully as they do showthat not all straps come with quick release. I’d love to see an option in the future, even at a slightly higher price, that guarantees every strap in the box is quick release. Overall, I’m really happy with the straps I can use, they’re beautiful and well-made as expected from WatchGecko. It’s just disappointing that nearly half the straps I received won’t work for me.”

“Great way to get a variety of options at a reasonable price. I'm quite happy with the bands that were included with this second box. The coolest thing is, several are colors I never would have thought to have chosen. But holding them in hand, looking at them next to various 20mm lug-width watches I own, I see some of the outlier colors are VERY COOL. And Now i'm using them.”

Which watch(es) do you wear with this strap? Sternglas Naos Automatic

“Following some advice from the good folks at WatchCrunch, I found myself shopping on Watch Gecko for a new strap or two, for my Sternglas Naos with 20mm lugs. I was being indecisive like usual and then I spotted the Leather Mystery Pack. Seemed like a good deal, so ordered it. Well, I was amazed at what arrived. 10 good quality leather straps of all different colours. For the money I am genuinely impressed. WatchGecko also included a couple of freebies. Hours of fun with all this lot. The blue strap is my fave, it matches the blued hands in my watch. Suffice to say I’m a fan of Watch Gecko now.”
