Which watch(es) do you wear with this strap? Christopher Ward Trident Pro 600 Calibre SH21 Limited edition of 300
I purchased the Cambridge Genuine Leather British Military Watch Strap – Reddish Brown 22mm for my Christopher Ward Trident Pro 600 Calibre SH21 Limited edition, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. From the moment I opened the package, the strap reminded me of times when things weren’t made quickly — they were made properly. There’s a real sense of craftsmanship here. The leather feels authentic, substantial, and beautifully finished in a rich reddish brown tone that pairs perfectly with the Trident. Comfort is outstanding. After just a few days of wearing, the strap became noticeably softer and incredibly comfortable on the wrist. Now, after a month of daily wear, it has started to develop a natural patina and subtle marks — something I personally love. It looks honest and organic, not like synthetic leather that never truly ages. This strap tells a story as you wear it. The metal hardware is solid and well-made, but the real star here is the leather itself — thick, durable, and full of character. The only small difficulty I encountered was during installation. The gap between the watch case and the spring bar was almost exactly the same as the thickness of the leather, making it a tight fit. However, I simply swapped the spring bar for a slightly different one, and everything fitted perfectly afterward. Overall, I absolutely love this strap. It has completely transformed the feel of my watch. I’ve also just read that WatchGecko may be producing special straps specifically for Christopher Ward watches, and I honestly can’t wait to see what they release next. Highly recommended.
