Which watch(es) do you wear with this strap? Seiko Alpinist
This leather strap really makes my Seiko Alpinist pop - the colour perfectly matches the gold indices and the handcrafted leather exudes a character and style that recreates the watch imo. Would 100% recommend this watch strap.

Which watch(es) do you wear with this strap? Vintage Rolex Explorer
This rally‑style leather strap delivers a vintage motorsport vibe that looks right at home on any chronograph. The perforated design, inspired by classic 1960s racing straps, gives it real character, and the colour matched stitching along the edges adds both strength and a refined finishing touch. The leather itself is impressively soft and supple, and it moulds to the wrist beautifully from the very first wear. The range of colours is a real highlight—there’s something here for every watch and every mood. With sizes in 18, 19, 20, and 22 mm, all in a comfortable 115/75 mm length, it’s easy to find a great match. I’ve already picked up two and can easily see myself adding more to the collection. A few things are worth noting for buyers. On my 20 mm strap fitted to a vintage Explorer, the generous leather thickness at the spring bar left very little clearance to the watch head, which caused some light rubbing and colour wear after a short period. This seems to be specific to that watch, as I haven’t had the issue elsewhere. The fixed keeper sits quite close to the buckle, which means the strap needs to bend sharply when tucking it through. On the 18mm version fitted to my vintage Speedmaster a crease developed after a couple of days so I fitted a deployant clasp that solved this completely and made the strap even more comfortable. The taper is quite pronounced - 4 mm on most sizes (3 mm on the 19 mm). On the 18 mm version, the 14 mm buckle feels a little modest for a heavier chronograph, and a 16 mm buckle would offer a more balanced feel. I also noticed some early peeling on the painted edge of my 20 mm strap, though my other strap has held up perfectly. With so many colours available, these straps are ideal for regular rotation. At this price point, quick‑release spring bars would make swapping even easier and would really complement the fun, mix‑and‑match appeal of the range. Customer service from WatchGecko has been excellent. When I reported an issue with one strap, they replaced it quickly and professionally once I provided photos. Overall, this strap delivers a stylish vintage look, great comfort, and plenty of personality, especially on chronographs. It’s a fun way to boost a watch’s character, and the colour range makes it even more appealing. That said, based on my experience, the price does feel a little high for the overall build quality, particularly given the absence of quick‑release spring bars, which would make swapping between colours far more enjoyable. Even so, with the right watch pairing and a bit of care, it remains an attractive option for anyone who loves that classic motorsport aesthetic.
