I had been contemplating getting a CW watch for a while, so when this came up I had no hesitation in ordering it. I like the style of this Aquitane, especially as this is a no- date version. It came with an additional (matching) nato strap, but this required its own 22mm spring bars to fit it because the bracelet has captive quick- release spring bars. A call to WatchGecko resulted in the quick despatch of some 22mm spring bars. I initially used the watch on this nato strap but noticed that the hole I was using was becoming frayed. Another call to Watchgecko resulted in the quick despatch of a (better quality) replacement. I had psyched myself up to re-size the bracelet, having seen some comments online suggesting this was problematic. As someone else has commented, you need 2 screwdrivers, and a way of holding the watch in place, whilst doing this. The ratchet clasp, similar to Rolex's Glidelock, works brilliantly. The clasp is maybe a little too long because of this system, although not really a problem for my 17cm wrist. Timekeeping is perhaps in the eye of the beholder and perhaps should be related to the price paid. Mine loses 4-5 seconds/day, which in my experience, is typical of Sellita SW200 movements. Overall, WatchGecko has always given me excellent service and I'll continue to use them. Another CW watch is not currently on my radar, but you never know.

The dial makes it a very special watch and the tone of the blue is perfect! Quality is top-notch as you would expect from Christopher Ward. The reasons that it hasn't made it to 5 stars is because, 1. the bracelet is very problematic to resize, and it requires screwdriver on both sides. It has been addressed with the new bracelet in the C60 Trident Pro 300. I would have gone for the strap if I knew it came with this badly designed bracelet. 2. It's still using the old design rotor, whilst there is a new design came out with the C60 Trident Pro 300.

I have a large collection of Christopher Ward watches, this watch sits in amongst 7 other C65 and stands out a mile. A truly beautiful dial. My wife and I love Christopher Ward we have both owned Rolex, Omega, Jaeger Lecoultre and Chopard watches, we both feel most over priced watches are no better and in some cases not as good as Christopher Ward. We are only just discovering WatchGecko but early indications are that they are equally as good as Christopher Ward.

Typical Christopher Ward quality and value. A nice twist on the standard design, with this WatchGecko collaboration. Very glad I was able to get one of these, a step up from a standard Chris Ward.

Bought this unique watch (only 50 pieces initially) because I like water sports and sailing. It's an excellent choice. The finishing is excellent (would have given 5 stars if it would have been just a notch up). Very comfortable to wear and accurate, get many compliments.
