Watch reclaim - I have just changed the strap on my diver from steel strap which was broken to a rubber strap using original pins. I have got my automatic back for the amazing price of £13.99 thank you. Can and will recommend

Love these - I really like the MKII Zuludiver straps. I think I am up to four of these now. I have a lot of dive watches in my collection - so have use for many. Though, they aren't just for dive watches. I have a black on that I wear on an Oris Big Crown Pro Pilot date - and they look great together.

Bad design ruins good build quality - The rubber, carbon fiber strap is beautiful. The finish on the Bracelet looks nice. However, for the price, i expected a much better designed strap. The spring bars that attach the strap to the clasp are oddly sized (there are actually two sizes of spring bar in the clasp alone watch), the larger is meant to secure the clasp closed with a snap). If inserted incorrectly, the springbar can go through the hole in the clasp (see photo). As for sizing. You need to physically cut the watch. Do not mess this up. I was super focused and informed on this process, and still nearly messed it up when i made a cut that came way too close to compromising the integrity of the springbar hole. One of the holes for the clasp require you to shave off a ton of material (too much and you the clasp spring bar will block the strap), leaving very little rubber near the springbar hole - it's a fine line between too little (which could crack and break the strap) and having too much where the clasp wont fit on the strap at all. Bad design. The clasp is secure. Too secure. Good luck taking it off. The jagged edges of the clasp cut into your fingers as you try to pry the clasp open. This may loosen up as i put more miles on the strap, but first impression is jarring. Also, why is this thing scented? The vanilla is much stronger than i anticipated. I thought the scent was intended to merely cover up the industrial rubber smell.. instead it's actually perfumed. It's neither pleasant nor putrid... it just kind of smells.. like a lot. Lastly, watch gecko's customer service was poor. I reached out to them regarding replacement spring bars as I believed the ones given were the wrong size (i still do, or perhaps the clasp holes for springbar are too big?). I received no reply from the company. I'm giving this 3 stars for quality because the materials are good. The finishing is nice. However the engineering holds this back, big time. This is a 60 dollar rubber strap. It is expensive, and it delivers a very imperfect product. For the price, this should be way better. One star for price. Overall value is two stars as the only redeeming quality is the material and finishing quality. Everything else about it is bad - from the method of cutting material off to size, to the wonky springbars, the smelly strap, and the bad clasp.

great rubber strap - I want to say it is a combination made in heaven for my squale 1521. The only "bad thing" it is I wish the length would be a little bit smaller for the people like me with very small wrists. it gets a bit off-centre.

Great Band for the Money...! - This is my second Watch Gecko purchase this month the first was the Nato Bond Style Premium for my Titanium Eco-drive, and this one for my utility Eco-drive. I had read the comments about the high quality vanilla smelling rubber and the issues with the clam style clasp mechanism. I have to say I have no issue with ether all great. It also fits very comfortably. My only caution would be to cut the straps in increments so you do not cut the band too short. I nearly did this. The adjustability range on the clasp also is a good feature for fine comfort tinkering. For reference if it helps I have an 8 inch wrist. No issues for me...!
