Beautifully made and a very nice looking 4mm thick shark mesh bracelet. - I bought this H link shark mesh bracelet to replace the nice looking, but useless Milanese bracelet that came with my Dumas Seaspray White watch. The H link shark mesh bracelet is beautifully finished and looks far nicer in person than it does in photos. At 4mm thick, It is nearly as thick as the bracelet it is replacing, and has a nicely milled clasp with a secure lock. Before adjusting your bracelet, make sure you have everything that you think you will need. You will definitely need two 2.5mm screwdrivers! The first link was very easy to remove, but the other two were more awkward and would not budge. I used a fix, that I use to undo stubborn stuck screws, that are used to hold the links together on some bracelets. To fix this, I boiled water in a kettle, then filled a mug to approximately half way. Then I put the stubborn link into the mug of boiled water for 5 or 6 minutes, making sure that the link is completely under the hot water. You may need to repeat this a few times. Be careful as it gets very hot! Then I quickly and carefully dried and held the (hot) bracelet in a tea-towel. I then used one screwdriver to hold one end of the link in place to stop it spinning, and managed to undo the link at the other end with the other screwdriver. The next stubborn link I had to put in another mug with freshly boiled water. Except this time I had to soak the link three or four times for at least 5 to 10 minutes and eventually that one was able to be undone. The reason it was so stubborn was because it had been cross-threaded when it was made. The time and effort it took to adjust the bracelet was well worth it, especially when it was attached to my Dumas watch. This H link shark mess bracelet looks superb, and really suits my Dumas Seaspray White watch so much better than the original. I like this H link shark mesh bracelet so much, that I intend to buy another one. My only regret is that I didn’t buy one sooner. After ringing WatchGecko and explaining about the cross-threaded link, they immediately put it in the post and I received the replacements the following day. Now that is fantastic customer service, and I will definitely be ordering more things from them again.

P01 on a Shark Mesh - This look fantastic on my Tudor P01. The Shark mesh bracelet complements the P01 and makes the watch look so much better without too much weight or too much metal.. After adjustment, it fits perfect and couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. Now the ugly duckling will get more wrist time.

Nice H Link Black Shark Mesh Watch Strap, a bit on the light side, silver springbars will show through though - review for Black H Link Shark Mesh 316L Stainless Watch Strap =============================================================== I've not come across these type of 2.5mm screws on the removable links before on gecko shark mesh straps, but i've changed enough straps over the years, so was quite optimistic. The screws are *very* fiddly! Some came out very easily while others took time, for some turning the screw would just turn the rod/bar that the screw screws into, for these, I found gently using another screwdriver to hold the screw on the other side (yes it has screws on both sides!), while unscrewing the other side worked, then losening the other side by a tiny fraction, the rod the screws go into can be gently pushed or pulled out. the screws and rods are actually silver painted black, so you will need to go over the screws extremely gently in a very well lit area, so that you dont scratch of any of the paint off. The strap itself is fairly light -but then I'm used to very chunky bracelets/straps, so your perception may vary. When i first got the strap, the clasp was incredibly stiff to open, however gets easier over time. I bought some standard springbars while buying the strap, and the only niggle - partly my fault for not noticing before purchasing though, is the silver springbars do show through the links where it's attached to the watch lugs. I dont know if 'black' springbars are available - in other black mesh straps ive had in the past, they normally have a tiny solid black strip/metal bit where the spring bar goes into and gets covered by.
