Arrived promptly, Fairly easy to use although getting enough blood to fill the bottle was more difficult than expected. Results arrived quickly too.

Hi Colin, Thank you for leaving your review, we do value hearing from our patients as this helps us know how to improve the service that we offer. I am very sorry to hear that you had not receive your test results as expected, especially as this was the first we had initially been made aware of the matter. After speaking with the laboratory I can see that they are yet to receive the completed replacement test. Our support team have already contacted you directly so that your test results will be returned as soon as possible.

My doctor said this was a waste as you couldn’t possibly produce enough blood to test from the items provided

Thank you for leaving your product review with us, we take all customer feedback very seriously as we want to continue providing a service valued by all patients. This test is one of our popular home kits that can provide you with a useful and convenient reading of your current testosterone levels which could help quantify common symptoms of low testosterone which may be affecting muscle strength, energy, libido and mood. Each test provided by a patient is validated via an independent laboratory who adhere to the same accreditation schemes to those that the NHS and many other private laboratories subscribe to and will then provide an accurate reading. Whilst there are venous tests that can be carried out with a nurse at a clinic or GP surgery these often involve a face to face consultation, waiting time to obtain an appointment and sometimes can be a costly alternatively to a home test kit. The laboratory themselves have specific and strict criteria in place to ensure the safe handling of a patient sample and in doing so operate a quality management system to integrate the organisation, procedures, processes and resources whilst setting quality objectives and plans in order to implement the quality policy. The test requires a small blood sample, which should be taken from your finger using the single use lancets into the sample bottle provided and you should perform the test and send it off as soon as possible. The test is best completed in the morning, preferably before 10am, and posted the same day to ensure the blood arrives in the best condition for testing. There are instructions included within the test kit on how to ensure you receive a suitable sample for the laboratory to use, however our support team will contact you shortly to provide further assistance to help resolve this for you.
