Canestan is a popular product that we provide, being rated as 4.3 out of 5 by our patients and is available in different strengths. The pessaries that come in 100mg and 200mg need to be inserted into the vagina for at least 3 consecutive days whereas the 500mg dose that you have purchased normally only requires a single dose.
Some people will notice relief from the symptoms of vaginal thrush after a single application as the pessary can work directly at the site of infection. After 3-7 days you should notice that your symptoms have cleared.
