First two batches seemed to work well but 3 pack seems to be a placebo pack no effect at all . Would like to know if this is the case ?? Bizarre??

Hi Shugufta, Thank you for your recent review; we always welcome feedback from our customers as it allows us to continually improve our service and product range. Firstly I would like to reassure you that as a fully regulated online pharmacy, we only source medication from responsible and reputable suppliers, often the same as the traditional high street pharmacies. All treatments provided by us are brand new and will contain the appropriate active ingredient. Our clinical team has advised it is important to distinguish between the treatment working effectively and a common side effect as the absence of a side effect does not equate to a medication error. Most side effects of Orlistat are temporary and can be reduced by measuring how much fat you consume, in each meal (aim to consume no more than 1-15 grams of fat per meal). The objective of Orlistat is to help reprogram your body and your behaviours to be able to maintain lifestyle changes; these include a varied low-fat diet (with portion control) and regular physical activity. The expected weight loss is about 10% of your overall weight over 6 months; when this treatment is combined with a weight-reducing diet and exercise. One reason why Orlistat may not work is that you may think that you can relax your weight-reducing diet, and the Orlistat will 'do it all'. This is not true. To lose weight you still have to eat less and exercise regularly. Orlistat prevents only some of the fat that you eat from being absorbed (just under a third) - if you do not keep to a healthy weight-reducing diet, and you eat more fat-containing meals, the extra fat that you eat may cancel out the effect of the Orlistat. Orlistat also does not affect other sources of calories, such as carbohydrates, sugars, and alcohol, so it is important to be aware of how many calories you are eating from other sources as well. I am pleased to see that you have been able to liaise with a member of our clinical team who has helped put your mind at ease however we want to continue to support your weight loss journey therefore a member of our support team will contact you directly.
