“The tablets are only for short term use, eg: three days as they contain codeine and caffeine. The full three times or four times a day does not have to be taken if no pain is experienced. They can be taken as and when over the three days only if desired. I have experienced no problems taking them but do not take them consistently over the three days only when requred. They are effective is used properly as stated on the box and the leaflet should be read especially if it is a first time user of this medication. Caution is the word, but otherwise it does control pain.”
