“Been dealing with a shoulder issue which was mildly painful by day, but a nightmare of an evening, and it’d impact my ability to sleep. I’d tried everything avoiding painkillers or medication to the point of sleeping with a pillow under my chest to take pressure off my shoulder. It solved it almost immediately, brought down swelling allowing comfort that lasted long after the painkillers wore off. Now I just take 2 of an evening on the odd occasion it flares up, and the trouble is kept at bay. Before I gave in and tried these the swelling and pain was continuous. By cutting inflammation down they did what the paracetamol couldn’t, and the low dose of codeine dealt with the soreness well enough.
Now I always try to make sure there’s some in the cupboard in case of flare up.”
