“I am so pleased that I managed to purchase this fabulous haggis for my husband and brother in law. I am told that it was, without doubt, the best haggis they have ever tasted. My husband followed the cooking instructions given on the Swaledale website and served it with traditional neeps and tatties. Apparently they were both transported to food heaven. Thank you Swaledale and Gloriosa for producing such a delicacy for all to enjoy.”
“This was the finest Haggis we have ever tasted. Perfect texture. We could taste the meat in it and it smelled delicious and aromatic. Cooked as instructions, served with neeps and tatties plus the tarragon and caper sauce as recommended
by Rosie Healey. Will be buying next year if it is available.
Thank you Swaledale”
“Deeply savoury, with a great texture and just the right level of spicing. Bought two and had the second one shaped and fried for breakfast (having been cooked the day before) with black pudding etc. Delicious and very good value. will buy again when available.”
“Fantastic haggis. By far the best haggis I've had. Cooked as suggested and served with a whisky cream sauce. Definitely recommend this. Just a shame that it's not available all year!”
“Absolutely delicious! Full of flavour with a great texture. Not dry at all. We really enjoyed it. Certainly the nicest haggis we’ve found to date. We followed the cooking instructions and it was perfect!”
