“What can I say, waiting to cook on Christmas Day so really cannot review properly, however, where do Swaledale source these amazing turkey breasts from, as big as a Tescos whole Turkey if not larger! I am sure we will be enjoying succulent Turkey Breast on Chrismas Day. I am always astounded by the quality of Swaledale produce, like the chicken breasts which would complement a Tescos Turkey by miles!!”
“Absolutely spot on for a smaller Christmas. The rolled and stuffed breast cooked evenly, stayed juicy, and was a breeze to carve. We chose the Pork, Prunes in Armagnac, Shallot and Sage stuffing, which kept the meat moist and added a gentle sweetness without overpowering the turkey. Delivery was fresh and well packed. Served with bread sauce and roast potatoes, then cold slices in sandwiches the next day. I was sceptical about turkey being dry, but this proved me wrong. Would happily order again.”
“We had sourced a free range Bronze crown from a long established Norfolk turkey farm for quite some time. This was not available this year, so we tried one of these. Unsurprisingly, since it came from the Swaledale Butchers, it did not disappoint, ceeding nothing to our long time supplier. The joint waas well presented, the quantity of stuffing not excessive. My wife specified the classic porkmeat stuffing in preference to the sweeter or more spicy or sage stuffing to allow the flavour of the mreat too be assessed.
We can toroughly recommend this, with no caveats. If available we will purchase this offering next year.
