Extremely lean and wasn't as tender as our usual hogget when cooked slowly with boulangere potatoes, but the flavour is excellent. Our recipe may need adjusting

Smoked this on the kamado over cherry wood. Really tender and rich flavour, everyone loved it. As always, excellent quality from Swaledale!

I am beginning to prefer mutton over lamb these days. Great little roasting joint.

First time eating mutton and I wasn't disappointed. Cooked low and slow, it made the perfect Sunday dinner.

Excellent tasty meat. Cooked it as suggested by other users here. Just oiled it with a brush, added some salt and then cook in the oven at high temp for 20 min and low temp for a few hours. Came out really delicious.

It was melt in the mouth but I wouldn't use rosemary again. It was too strong. Delivery etc spot on.
