The best I’ve tasted in a long time as my old butcher discontinued selling them. Made a few meals out of it.

Could you pickle it for longer if possible. It was very red(bloody) when I opened the bag. Pickling also improves the taste.

We agree and enjoy both a fresh and cured/ pickled tongue - in this instance you've selected a fresh tongue from our shop, not the cured version I think you were expecting. What an experience that was. Cooking Ox tongue is not to be tried unless you don't mind how it looks! But the meat when cooked tasted like the best steak!
