“I originally ordered a larger sized jacket and once it was tried on it was far too big for me. It was returned and exchanged for a smaller jacket without any hassle. The jacket is in great condition, fits well and is ideal for winter. Gore Tex clothing for a fraction of what you'd pay for branded clothing. I've just ordered more clothing from Forces Uniform and Kit and I'll continue to be a customer in the future.”

“Update, initially reviewed as great but after the first serious rainfall discovered it’s not that waterproof. The hood/collar has delaminated which isn’t ideal. Still good for dog walks generally though.”

“Have had many upmarket Gore Tex jackets issued for work but this is a bargain, outperforming in weatherproofing, durability and features by quite some way. A friend has put it through the Nikwax process (he's going to get one too) and it will be my go to jacket in the future. Perfect for dog walking and fly fishing.”

“Excellent bit of kit a bargain - I'm 6ft 14 stone a perfect fit - one professional repair but not a problem - I would highly recommend - used on a fishing trip the heavens opened, I was bone dry apart from legs, my mate who bought a jacket from a high street store was dry on the outside of the jacket but very damp on the interior as the fabric although stating breathable didn't breath”

“All arrived in perfect condition. Small repairs on sleeve (to be expected from distressed range) are stitched well and tough, a proper military job. You’ll do very well to find an item of this quality for anywhere near this price range anywhere else”

“As yet I have to take the jacket for a test run in the rain. For this I feel optimistic and I can't complain about the swiftness of the service. My reason for 2 stars is thus: after I purchased the jacket for £33 I returned to the website to find it reduced to £28. I was both annoyed and baffled. This happened previously to me with a well known brand clothier via their website.”
