“Excellent jacket for the price. Seems like a generous size as other people have mentioned. I went for a large as recommended for my chest size but possibly a medium would have done. However having not tried the medium on, I couldn't say for certain.”

“I would agree with the reviewer who says that the sizes are generous. I can get away with a 42" inch chest guideline usually (my chest is in fact just 42" but I am short of stature) so, looking at what another reviewer said about taking the next size up, I went against my instinct to go "medium" (usually a fairly safe bet ) and went for large, i.e. the 42" inch chest. I was working on the assumption that I would be "padding it out" with lots of under layers (planning on using this coat for static coastal wildlife watching). However, the large/42 just buried me. So, unless you can take up some slack by being particularly tall, I would not advise taking the advice to go a size up. As regards condition and quality, absolutely superb. Proper old-fashioned workmanship and material, and the colours! Marvellous.”

“Very good quality jacket. Speedy postage and service from the seller. Shame I had to return it because I ordered a large which is my usual size (42in chest) but it was way too big. I had it switched for a medium but the sleeves were too short so I returned it for a refund. I don't have any complaints about the jacket or the company.”
