“As an ex-British Army infantryman myself, I take my kit very seriously. My soldiering days are over, but I still do lots of outdoor activity, such as walking, cycling, hill walking, etc. This is a standard British army combat jacket (I wish they were as good as this 30 years ago!) with a hood and many useful features, such as 4 large pockets (with fold over flaps), sleeve pockets, and a draw-cord hem. There is a zip and Velcro storm flap and adjustable cuffs. It’s quite heavy, poly-cotton and better for slightly cooler weather. It's not designed to be waterproof but it's quite warm and windproof. For a civvy, it might be a bit 'military' in appearance for going to the supermarket (!) but for serious outdoor use, the DPM is fine and it has many rugged and useful features. The one I had received was used, but in particularly good condition and excellent value.”

“I ordered the 96/170 Decent bit of kit, loads of pockets for storage, very lightweight and the wire in the hood was still fitted and in one piece. Even the spare buttons were still in place. Only slight gripe was one of the pit zips had been replace with a one way rather than the two way of the original.”

“Great jacket! Bit tight but that's my fault.....over eating and not getting out because of covid. Well pleased with the price. Cannot fault the jacket or company at all, cheers!”
