“The fleece is a good thickness and was warm with only a teeshirt underneath. For the price I think it is a good buy. The only downside for me was a manufacturing one. It doesn't have fastener on the bottom front of the jacket. With being elasticated there, the two way zip is being pulled apart and starts to rise.”

“I ordered a couple of these, as I had seen someone wearing one of these previously and was impressed with the quality and features. Both the ones I received are manufactured in 2014 and showed little or no sign of wear. Pros A good warm fleece. Worn under a Flecktarn parka or an Austrian Army Goretex jacket (and over a half zip fleece) I have found they are warm enough for a temperature of around freezing. Quality is what you would expect of genuine Austrian Army garment i.e. very high. Condition of one was as expected of grade one item i.e. just minor wear on elasticated cuffs, condition of second one was outstanding i.e. as new Good list of features Two shallow external “hand warmer” pockets and one large pocket inside. All pockets are zipped. Long pit zips for ventilation. High double thickness collar with cord. Elasticated cuffs and hem, cuffs also have thumb holes. Additional cord to allow jacket to be cinched in a couple of inches above the waist. Reinforced shoulder and arm patches. Cons. Nothing really not as warm as Flecktarn parka liner, but not as bulky either. Overall an excellent fleece that should provide years of service. As always the customer service was first class.”
