“As others have said, this is a very high quality coat and the price is extremely reasonable. However, as with most army surplus coats, it is designed to be worn over a uniform / jacket, so expect it to be looser around the chest / armpit area, and less 'fitted'. Based on an earlier review, I opted for a size down from my usual, and find that it still looks and fits best when worn over a suit jacket. But these are minor 'style' quibbles, and the bottom line is that getting something of this quality for this price is almost unheard of these days!”

“A superb jacket and surprisingly warm, thanks to the removable lining. I've worn the coat mainly walking the dog, in all weather and it has kept me quite dry. Only negative is the sleeves are too long but other than that it fits perfectly and I'm happy with the purchase”

“Like these very much. Great value. Fit is a little large but I guess they are meant to be worn over layers. They are longer than current fashion pea coats which I think is a good thing.”
