“I bought this to use as a waterproof jacket My first impression was the jacket was once of very good quality. After further inspection, the waterproof lining had completely vanished through use and washes over time, leaving me slightly disappointed as I have a jacket without a purpose now The zip is sticky from being used so much. the jacket really did smell of storage and could do with a third maybe even a fourth wash. on the plus side, it's a very warm and comfortable jacket, just not waterproof or resistant now. i think I should have got the (Austrian Army Gore-Tex Over-Jacket - Alpine). This is the first time I have been a little disappointed, but this is what army surplus is all about. I am still 100 Percent happy with forces uniform & kit and have bought many items from them in the past and have been very happy, and will continue to use them as my go to place for gear.”
