“The coat is fantastic. It is very heavy wool and looks to have never been worn. I wear a 40 US jacket size and the size 48 which I received fit very well. It does smell a bit of mothballs and I am currently airing it out. The smell has also dissipated a bit after a few days. It is quite heavy and the sheepskin lining is thick. I also have the full length great coat version of this jacket which is so heavy, it is uncomfortable to wear for long periods. This jacket is very close in quality to that coat except it is more practical to wear in a shorter length. Thanks for having this jacket available for sale. These are difficult to find, especially it such great condition.”

“Fit well, my husband can wear a summer jumper and be absolutely and totally warm. However, the buttons were a little rusty and have started to fall off. i will be looking to get new ones but i was not much impress by this. Otherwise, he is till happy.”

“I'm about 5'8" and a fitted 42" coat is usually quite fitted and doesn't leave space for a jacket. Same with this. It's slightly large around the chest (42-44) but the sleeves and shoulders crunch jackets up. There's only two outside pockets so if you need more pockets you'll need a shirt or something. Saying that, this is an awesome coat. It's thick and heavy and so, so warm. It needs some wearing in and the smell needs to fade out a bit (I kind of like that mothballed smell though) but once it's worn in a bit it'll be a properly fantastic coat.”

“Fab coat. Warm and snug. Slight mothball 'perfume', but hey, wool and sheepskin in great condition because of it. Company great to deal with - courteous swift communications and deliveries.”

“This thing is a tank! Dry clean before wearing to get rid of the mothball smell and you are good for an arctic winter. Great buy!”
