“This is a very good coat, extremely warm & comfortable, well made, & I'm actually surprised it's on sale for, what is a cheap price, £150, when a brand new, modern equivalent would be double that amount, if not more. It is a tad longer than I thought, but my wife is a tailor, so she easily made the alteration, & now it's spot on perfect, obviously a taller person than me would have no problems, as I'm only 5 feet 9 inches, short by modern standards. The mothball smell is very minor, after you wear it a few times outside, the smell goes completely. If you need a good quality, warm coat, buy one of these, you won't be disappointed, on my (usually) freezing walks home from work, this coat almost convinced me it was still the middle of Summer, as I was lovely & toasty. It is on the heavier side, but after a few wears you really don't notice at all, just shows it's good quality material, built to last, will probably still be going strong & usable 50+ years from now. The customer service was, as always, exceptionally good & very helpful, answered my questions very fast, glad I asked the questions, as purchasing this coat, I've very pleased.”
