“Regarding my order for 10 by Railway Sleepers. To be honest I was disappointed on receiving the Wood Sleepers. As you can see by the attached image they do not bear much resemblance to the image of clean smooth sleepers on your web site. The sleeper were quite dam and all exhibited some traces of mould. In some cases when I tried to drill into them the drill just went straight into the wood. They had obviously been stored outside in wet conditions for some time.”

Good morning, Thank you for your review. Until this review we were unaware of the issues with the sleepers. We would need to see images, as there is no images attached to the review to advise what the traces are. From the description provided this sounds like spots of treatment which will soak into the sleeper over time. “Some in good condition while others not so due to how they were delivered. If you want cheap, great. If you want good, maybe pay more and go elsewhere.”

“The sleepers were of good quality and made really nice looking raised beds. 5 stars for the sleepers. Unfortunately the delivery system let them down and I had to reschedule the work, hence the 3 stars. Otherwise a good experience.”

“The product itself was great and at a competitive price. One of the items ordered was out of stock but despite trying I could not get any indication of when it might be available which delayed delivery. Responses to emails were very slow which in total added another 10 days to delivery. Staff were friendly at least.”
