“After watching someone promoting this angle grinder attachment online l was impressed but slightly sceptical about the lack of dust! Anyway I took the plunge!!! Delivery was prompt 1-2 days and everything required included. They mention it fitting a number of angle grinders so I wasn’t sure if it would fit mine (Erbauer) as not listed but it did. After having removed a thin harder crust of pointing by hand (as recommended) I was good to go....After hooking up to my titan 40 litre vacuum cleaner with power take off I began! Amazing no dust and very accurate and smooth feeling, takes a bit of practice but you soon get the hang of it! (If the pointing is very hard I think it might be a bit of a struggle ) occasionally it will clog up but easy enough to unclog. I recommend wearing eye protection gloves and ear defenders . On an old house where the pointing is soft I highly recommend this product!”

“Looked for a mortar sorta as seen on you tube. This is similar and really effective, better than any £8 manual mortar rake. I can’t imagine pointing without it, comes with all the bits to fit any grinder and colour coded to boot.”

“After some digging around the internet for a raking kit I plumped for this and I’m not regretting it one bit. This kit is easy to attach using the provided collars. The suction hose plug straight onto my Hoover (admittedly with some assistance of gaffer tape, but no dramas there) keeping the kit against the wall is nice and easy with the visible notch’s to keep you aligned with the mortar. The provided rakes go through my old mortar like a hot knife through butter but with some gentle persuasion goes through the tougher bits as well. For a DIYer like me this is a great bit of kit.”

“I am sure professional builders have all sorts of tools for raking out mortar joints but for the amateur with the odd bit of wall to sort out this was simply invaluable and made the job much easier. The attachment, which you can connect to a vacuum cleaner, reduced the dust and mess to almost nothing. It came with 2 different size bits and you can order spares. Best tool for the money I have bought for years. No hesitation in recommending it.”
