“Kept my feet dry for maybe an hour and then it was as if the barrier broke and I could feel how the rain started to soak my socks. The 2nd time I taped the socks around my ankles to ? stop water from leaking in, but after about an hour of cycling in the rain the same happened - the insulation tape still securely in place around the socks and my ankles”

“The sock is as thick as one I might use in 7 to 12 degrees C. I am not a fan of the bamboo rayon inner material. It is not a good insulator and is slow to dry. I will use these, but will continue to look for another waterproof sock.”

Thank you for taking the time to review our Super Thin Pro Ankle Sock with Hydrostop. We are sorry to hear that the inner material is not to your liking. This is our lightest and thinnest waterproof ankle sock. Our waterproof socks will always be thicker than a single layer sock, as three layers are bonded into one sock to provide maximum protection and comfort. We have used bamboo rayon as the inner material in this model because of its benefits of being antibacterial, wicking, hypoallergenic and incredibly eco-friendly. This sock has a thermal rating of 1 out of 5, suitable for the warmest days when waterproof protection is required. We are pleased to hear that you are going to continue to use your socks. Please remember to wash and dry them inside out, as this will cut down the drying time considerably.
