“Bought these as I don't currently have any waterproof golf shoes, so wore them with my summer ones. It rained all morning, but my feet stayed dry!”

“I bought 2 pairs of these socks, the description made it sound as though your feet would remain dry irrespective of conditions. Sadly I have found these to be ineffective the last 2 journeys out have resulted in very wet feet with water being retained within the socks. I bought them at reduced price but at £17 per pair very disappointed.”

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about our Super Thin Pro ankle socks with Hydrostop We are very sorry to hear that you are disappointed with their performance. Our waterproof socks are waterproof up to the top part of the socks. In this way they act just like wellington boots, keeping water out all the way up to the top. If water is able to run or seep inside the socks from the cuff area then it will cause your feet to become wet. Could it be a possibility that this is what happened in your case? If you feel that this is not what happened then please contact us at ukcustomerservices@sealskinz.com and we will arrange for the socks to come back to us for testing/inspection. “I wore these for the 1st time on Friday when I was expecting heavy rain. I had them on for maybe 10/12 hours. The rain didn't amount to much so they appeared to work ok. However, my ankles had an allergic reaction to the substance in the band round the top of the socks and I ended up with quite a severe rash. If I wear them again I will have to wear long thin socks underneath.”

“I bought these socks a few weeks ago and cannot believe the difference a pair of socks can make on a hike - provide cushioning and even in warm weather feet stay dry from sweating and no rubbing or chaffing. Bought two pairs in the sale and worth every penny. Haven’t stopped telling my friends about these amazing socks!”

“great looking socks, felt great, but feet were soaked after wearing for a few hours in the rain (inside somewhat waterproof golf shoes). That being said, customer service has been great, and are sending a new pair. hopefully these new ones do as advertised.”

“Socks main design point with these socks is they are designed to stop water running down leg and filling inside of socks with water, when I opened parcel I could see the tip of sock was very wide, I tried one on and it would not seal, I took several ankle measurements and contacted seal skin direct by phone to explain the problem, they said return them, they refunded money but very poor follow up and explanation about sizing and poor fit”

Thank you for your review of our Super Thin Pro Ankle Socks. Upon their return, the socks were inspected and found to be correctly constructed and sized with each pair in stock constructed in the same manner. The socks are designed to have a close fit on the leg and ankle, however we are unable to guarantee a perfect fit for every ankle and leg width and length and we are sorry that these were not a perfect fit for yourself.
