“I didn't expect much from the granary blend, as a friend of mine sold it to me as a generic tasting coffee. I disagree with him completely. To me, it's a very tasty coffee and deserves a much better description than "generic". I could taste caramel when I was drinking the granary blend and it's got a mild roastiness to it that feels very uplifting in the morning. Drinking this coffee in the morning is like being slowly, softly woken up from a lie-in, as opposed to some coffees which make you feel like you've been abruptly woken up with a punch in the face. It's perfect for a weekend where you've got all the time in the world and don't want to feel immediately sent to 100mph. That said, I wouldn't opt for it on a day where you need to hit the ground running.”
