“It feels extremely hot as the ball is wound further and further back into the throat. The only downside is that, for me at least, it seemed to move a lot more when wound back due to there not being as much keeping it in place at the front of the gag. That was only from a first time try however and might be an issue fixed easily with a little adjustment.”

“Great idea - poor execution. The ball is not firmly attached to the ball. As a result, if the ball is pushed against and held in place by the roof of the mouth, the metal rod will just go through it, and only the thin metal rod will stick deeper into the sub's throat. This is obviously neither safe nor the intended function...”
