Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

“Good quality and lightweight jacket. A bit bigger than I expected - I ordered a size 45 for my cocker spaniel but in hindsight a size 40 may have been better. However with the leg straps and various adjustable elastic traps it actually stays in place really well and just covers a bit more of her tail at the back which isn’t such a bad thing on a wet day. We’ve used it a few times in the moderate rainfall so far and it does seem to keep her dry. Adjustable elastic to get a good fit around the neck and tail is particularly helpful”

“I ended up sizing down one size on both dogs in the end, as my cockers are a bit long and lean, but the entire returns process and help is great from Mountain Dog. The jacket fits nicely, and the high neck and double drawstring helps keep the snow out and stops the balling up around the chest area. It was bought mainly as a layer to stick in the pack when I am out in the mountains with the pups. Weather can turn nasty quickly, so having something small, light and packable is important as well as its function. Not used it in mental downpours yet, but being spaniels, they have dunked themselves into water wearing them, and it seems to drain pretty well. No comment to durability yet, but it feels a lot like GoreTex pro, its a pretty flexible membrane, without too much rustle. Extended use in dense undergrowth will probably shred it, but I use the Non-stop hunting vest for that sort of terrain which is bombproof.”

“This coat is exactly right for our very active outdoorsy cocker spaniel, very adjustable and lightweight, waterproof and windproof, and she looks great in it. Worth the money as I can see it lasting a long time. We messed up measuring her and had to return the first coat supplied. A full refund was issued promptly (of course the coach was returned immediately in pristine condition). The second coat supplied fits properly. A good honest company to deal with.”
