Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

“The jacket is brilliant. It has a good level of waterproofing. I would have preferred gortex. The jacket fits perfectly and the rear leg straps keep the jacket in place perfectly. The jacket itself has a sizing guide that's much better than the websites sizing guide but we got lucky.”

“Contemplated buying this raincoat for a long time due to the price, but now so glad that we made the investment. The coat is very light and comes with a small pouch (similar to a shopping carrier bag) - meaning we can always take it with us 'just in case' it rains. Because the coat is so light, it is suitable to wear in all seasons, but during very cold mornings we can easily layer this by putting a fleece on underneath. Our dog seems to like the coat and doesn't fuss it when it's on. When he does wear the coat he's always dry which is really what you would expect from a raincoat. The coat is easy to get on and adjust, and he can go for a wee and cock his leg without getting anything on the coat which is an issue we've had with other coats. It easily slips over the head and there isn't any fuss putting legs in leg holes as there are none. The elastic straps on the back do not bother him despite him being in-tact, but the straps ideally need to be worn for the coat to sit correctly on the body. We walk our dog mostly on a collar and lead, but on some occasions, we have had a harness underneath the coat with a halti lead attached in two places. This is achievable, but not ideal for taking the dog on and off the lead repeatedly.”

“I bought 1 and thought it was lost in the post, it thankfully turned up 13days later after it had been marked delivered. By this time I had already ordered a replacement, however I loved it so much I kept the original and now we have 2 of these beautiful coats for my Cavapoo.”

“This is a great coat, expensive, but based on previous coats we have had, seems to be worth the money. No flapping around, stays in place, great coverage, lightweight she doesn’t get too hot running around. Hasn’t cramped her style at all, still galloping around like a loon. It doesn’t bother her at all. Sizing is spot on following the instructions. If you can afford it, it is a quality buy.”

“Fits perfectly. Not tried it out in the rain yet, but it looks as though it will be great. Lightweight, easily packed in a rucksack and easy to put on. I particularly like the fact that there's a hole for a harness fitting lead. The black and orange is very smart looking on my black dog.”
