Bought this for the wife as she doesn't like beer. She's going to have to be quick because its bloody good! Will definitely buy again. Only used half of the sweetener to brew a medium dry

Could have done with a bigger strawberry flavour pack but still a nice tasting product

Tried this kit as the first kit to start my home brewing and I must say was really easy to follow the instructions and didn’t take to long to complete would definitely recommend putting the correct amount of priming sugar when bottling if you like it fizzy like you get in the can still a fairly nice cider can’t really taste to much strawberry flavour think it could use a bigger size flavour pack but it’s still nice enough

Made this cider and have just tasted after leaving it to condition for a couple of weeks. Not much of a strawberry flavour but it's a bloody nice cider nonetheless. Will definitely order/brew this again soon.

As it's my first kit I made exactly as per the instructions and resulted in very nice perry with a hint of strawberry. The strawberry flavour could be stronger, but the subtle flavour is certainly preferable to a lot of the commercial diabetes-doses that basically taste like cider drowned in cordial. I did crash-cool my barrel to speed up the clearing and found that this was very drinkable after 2 days. I will keep the rest in the fridge for the best end results. Definitely a good kit to start with, and a good benchmark for future experiments and adaptions.

I made this a week ago and must say it turned out quite well. The process was super easy, clear instructions. Although, I left it to clear for a week after fermentation (which wasn't that necessary) and bulk primed it. I only used half of the sweetener as not to make it too sweet like in the other review. I think the using half the sachet gets you a nice medium sweetness. Same goes with carbonation, using the full priming sugar sachet gets you to what I would call a medium carbonation. Some bubbles, but not that much. Next time, I would use slightly more sugar for priming (with the help of calculator tools online), but be careful - don't overdo this or else you'll have bottle bombs! When I first tasted the cider before priming, it had a very nice hint of strawberry flavour. It was definitely there. Although, after conditioning for a week, the flavour had completely disappeared. Now it just tastes like straight up pear cider. I would recommend LoveBrewing to increase the flavouring sachets in order to compensate for that. All in all, it's still a great tasting cider. Not perfect, but you live and learn. Hope this review helps fellow brewers out there!
