I brewed this at the end of summer and have just polished off the last bottle. As always, clear instructions and straightforward to brew. I had to drink nearly all of it myself as my sons don’t like ‘proper’ beer. Sad!! As others have said, this is a very drinkable beer with a pleasant clean after taste. Not nearly as hoppy as some I’ve brewed but equally enjoyable. I managed to break my siphon when decanting so had to improvise and ended up with a bit more gunk at the bottom of the bottles than I’ve had before. Careful pouring sorted that out though. Highly recommended.

Dear Pete, What a fantastic result - glad you enjoyed the brew and found the instructions clear. It’s a shame the family weren’t fans, but your persistence paid off with a refreshing, drinkable IPA. Sorry about the siphon mishap, but great that you improvised and still ended up with a tasty batch. Here’s to many more enjoyable brews and happy sipping! Kind regards, Love Brewing

Spire IPA I brewed this two months ago, then casked it into a plastic pin with a beer race valve. Had to isolate as wife tested positive. Best beer I've made so far, the longer you can leave it the better. Also what a great way to spend isolation ,,, on average real ale in a pin once opened lasts two weeks, same as my isolation period...coincidence? I don't think so. Cheers!

Excellent IPA, nice golden colour with lovely head. Plenty of body. You would happily choose this beer in a pub!

I've tried loads of different kits (a good one is St Peters ruby red ale) but this is now my main kit to buy...decent amount of hops & yeast. It does taste grapefruity with a hint of honey. I don't use a knife to break up the hops as suggested...they go into a measuring jug & I pummel them with a meat tenderiser...does the job in seconds! I also prefer to place the prepared hops in separately bought muslin bags & chuck it in the wort. Beer comes out hazy but does the job! Beer is so nice it goes down in seconds!

Totally new to brewing, gave this a go, got most of the instructions wrong (due to being impatient), but still came out lovely. Will be using this again.

I’m new to this brewing so nothing to compare. It was easy to produce and the Lovebrewing videos were good and worth watching if you are new. The Initial fermentation took a few days to start, unless I hadn’t sealed everything properly. I went with barrelling and left it for 5-6 weeks. It’s now going down very nicely. Looking forward to trying the next Beerworks.

the first pints from the beerworks craft range are almost ready ( who starts drinking when they are actually ready!) . A very nice pelleted hop range
