Made mid summer started drinking Christmas A Ok drinking Bitter not some thing to rave about but pleasant enough, nice aroma holding a small head bitter finish. Needs more body, its a little thin . If body is improved so will the head .

just cracked my first bottle tonight , been in bottle 12 weeks, Beer has conditioned nicely beautiful clean amber copper colour, beige lasting head. Little thin on body slightly gassey. Nice Beer but nothing stands out, no individual taste or flavour comes through , a decent bitter finish but in my opinion next time I make it I will add some GEK Hops a few days before bottling and maybe a medium spray malt during fermentation to increase the body. 7out of 10

Bottled about month ago and sampled a couple of bottles today.Very pleasant pint of bitter .It does remind me of SN Spitfire, but not as spicy an aftertaste.Good value for the money, and will make a decent session ale. Will buy again.

This was my first attempt at a beerworks kit. I have to say that the instructions were easy to follow and I had no issues in getting the beer fermenting. I was a bit worried as the beer seemed to ferment very well for 4 days then stop, but I kept to the time scales the instructions said and I’m now drinking a very good beer. Really impressed with the taste and quality of it, definitely tastes like SN Spitfire. It’s a great beer and I highly recommend it.

Hi , this is my second batch of Dragon´s Special Kentish Bitter and its as good as the first one . I left this a week longer in the fermentor and got it down to 1014 as suggested. The first brew is almost finished but I will be putting some of the second brew aside to age a few months as it only gets better with age.

I have just tried my first bottle of Dragon's Spéciale Kentish Bitter and I have to say I´m really surprised how good it is , its as good if not better than most pub bitters. It was easy to make just follow the instructions , the hardest bit is waiting until its ready . Thanks Rich and all at lovebrewing . Ive just started batch nº2 should be ready for New Year.

This was my first Beerworks brew and certainly will not be my last. (I've got some Docker's bubbling away at the moment). Taste tests started ASAP (7 days after racking) as I wanted to see how the beer developed, and as per the instructions, the beer started reaching a lovely blend of sweetness and hops after 3 weeks from racking. Currently at 5 weeks from racking, I'm really enjoying not only the taste but the alcohol content effect. It's very pleasant indeed. Nutty bitter sweet taste, great with food. Recommended.

I am new to the home brew world, this Beerworks Kentish bitter is only the 2nd kit I've done. What I like about these kits is that everything you need is included, even a little mesh bag to use when you are transferring your brew from fermentation vessel to your bottles/pressure barrel. I wish I had this bag for my first attempt at brewing which has left me with a fir amount of sediment in my bottles. The instructions are clear and the finished product is a delicious drink if you are patient enough to give it a good conditioning time period. It is drinkable after 2 weeks, but if you give it at least 4 weeks then you will be rewarded with a beer that is as good as, or even exceeds pub quality beer. I am aware that this kits ingredients are based on the shepherd neames Spitfire ale. So, for a bit of fun I bought a bottle of spitfire, and conducted a little blind taste test with the family. I'm delighted to say that my home brew came out as favourite with everyone.
