“Needed to close up an old glass loft hatch and insulate one side of the house, so required a new hatch on the other side. Went for a 600x600 to fit in between my joists, which had 400 centres. After removing a joist and lining with 150x47mm timbers, I had 606mm gap and the hatch slipped in perfectly with just a few shims to align, no dramas at all. It looks great and holds the temperature of the insulated ceiling at around 21 degrees, whereas the old glass hatch was 14 and clearly losing lots of previous and expensive heat! Hoping to see a benefit on the bills. Delivery was next day as promised and I will certainly be buying a custom sized version next year to replace the old boarded over glass hatch. Great product, quick delivery, value for money, equals happy customer :-)”
