“Wanted to deter the squirrels (& other mammals particularly rats). Have been using chilli powder to mix with suet pellets & seed, it works until the rain washes off. Have given it 4 stars as I have not been using it long ( 7 days), but have to say early signs are positive. Grey squirrells visit frequently,they wreck feeders, the garden, & eat everything. Small pieces have survived overnight on the ground & the squirrell has ignored, so can only assume it works.

“Can thoroughly recommend these. One squirrel did manage to break into the feeder, but left the block on the ground after one bite. Presumably word got around because there have been no more break-ins. The birds love them”
