“I bought this to try and stop the larger birds from eating everything before the smaller birds had a chance to feed. Its successful at keeping out the pidgeons, jackdaws etc but also seems to deter the larger small birds like nuthatches and larger finches, whcih wasn't the intention. Strong and well made feeder, should last a long time and is easy to fill having an integrated hopper.”
“I bought two of these feeders to replace another brand's squirrel-proof ones, as I was not happy with the ease of dismantling and cleaning them. These feeders are sturdy and attractive and most importantly, very easy to fill and clean. I like the sloping roof so that rainwater runs off and the mesh around the seed hoppers, to prevent larger birds from accessing the food. I hope they will last as they are an investment. I have filled one with a seed mix and the other with Sunflower Heart Chips. Usual excellent prompt delivery of well-packed items from Ivel Valley.”
