“Birds absolutely love nuggets and the feeder has to be replenished daily. I have seen woodpeckers and thrush but mainly blue tits and some coal tits and long tail tits and robins and also all the finches: greenfinch; occasional goldfinch and chaffinch. My greatest pleasure is to watch the woodpeckers (great spotted) and to greet the hedgehog who arrives at night to eat the pieces of nuggets that have dropped to the ground. We have even had a visiting guinea fowl who seems to particularly like the bits of nuggets that have dropped to the ground.”
