“Usually my large box lasts just over 2 months but the swans have been so successful rearing their young this year that it only lasted 1 month, the families follow me round the lake until they get their feed, it is such good quality food. I have noticed this year that more people are feeding them the proper food rather than bread which can only be a good thing”
“I had been feeding food to the pond birds on the bank but after finding a pile of feathers on the bank transferred to this floating duck food that disappears very quickly. The moorhens have managed to raise two families of baby moorhens with the help of this food. About 6 babies each hatch. One day the pond was covered in moorhens and ducks and one morning I spotted a heron. Last year we had a couple of migrating geese drop by. All very exciting for the grandchildren.”
