“Usually, the dried mealworm is excellent and the birds love it. Sadly this time there seemed to be a lot of 'crumbs' and burnt mealworms in the batch and more of what I call 'fillers', they are not mealworms, I don't know what they are. The birds won't eat the crumbs or the fillers. I try mixing some of the mealworm crumbs into the seeds but most are thrown away.
I order the 12.55g size, and on arrival or within a day or two at most, these are decanted into 12-14 plastic boxes for storage and easier access.”
