“The visitors to our feeders are mostly tits and finches so we decided to try this special mix. They like it but not as much as the sunflower hearts we usually feed them. Also they pick through and discard the bits they don't like so it makes a bit of a mess (luckily, we have a wild pheasant that visits and scavanges under the feeds so it is not wasted.”
“Best seed for bird variety in the garden. Perching birds feed off the hanging feeders and dropped seed feeds the ground feeders. We now see greater spotted woodpeckers on the suet balls from Ivel Valley, Turtle Doves feed on the groundand so many finches clamour to get space on the feeders. It's become quite a spectacle.”
“My only problem with this food is that the birds love it so much I’m having to refill the feeder virtually every day. However, the quantity of birds that visit and the variety make it worthwhile.”
