“I used to put single seed like sunflower hearts and Niger seed in feeders, then I noticed the two feeders with the Ready Peck seed Feeder mix, were visited by many birds.
I now fill my 6 feeders with this mix and go through 2.5 litres a day.
Had 25 siskin fighting over space last week.
Costs more than other brands but there's no maize, which no bird eats or wheat which brings in the pigeons. All a b8g plus.”

Of course the tiniest seeds settle at the very bottom of the feeders. No problem. I tip the left-overs onto the ground and the smaller birds clear up. I am not sure what they are but some germinate and produce on long stems lovely blue tiny flowers which small buzzing chaps enjoy.”
