If this is read, a question: I have read that it is not safe to cast them about because, eg, blackbirds feed them to young and the younsters can choke. Is this true or a myth?”
“Good quality nut which the birds are really appreciating at the moment in this particularly cold spell. They aren’t especially cheap but then quality nuts aren’t and the birds are too sensible to eat cheap nuts!”
