Of course, if you don't fancy cooking, why not visit one of the local pubs; the Wheatsheaf at Beetham (3 miles) offers excellent food and great Sunday lunches. Real Ale aficionados will enjoy the Old School Bewery & Canteen at Warton (2 miles), offering a range of their own brews and a few guest ales and cocktails. The Canteen serves lovely food sourced predominately from local producers.
Outside the cottage is a lovely lawn garden with outside furniture and a charcoal/wood BBQ. The garden benefits from the afternoon sun, making it ideal for chilling out with the family after exploring the area.
